With three different choices in accommodation, there is something to suit everyone. From the 4 Star Heritage rooms to family units which sleep five people, there is a room for every budget.

The Heritage Rooms are furnished with antiques, yet still contain the modern amenities, including fully renovated ensuites, televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and bath robes.

We also cater for group bookings, with special tariffs available. Many organisations choose to stay at The Oriental, including the Jag Car Club, and enjoy the benefits available to them of dinner, bed and breakfast.

The menu at The Oriental is seasonal. Consequently, it changes throughout the year as our Chef utilises the best produce, sourced locally. Our Chef's skilled knowledge of flavour combinations ensures your dining experience is one you will remember and with our great food and warm atmosphere, you are ensured an enjoyable evening of dining.

The Oriental also caters for small and intimate weddings. We have the experience to plan your wedding for you, or assist you with the vendors you require. Our Chef will also design a menu based on your individual needs and budget. We are fully licensed and offer a large selection of local products, showcasing Gapsted Wines.

The Oriental is a proud reminder of bygone days and although conveniently located at the top of the main street, still retains its mystique and tranquility.

The Bright Oriental Hotel is one of the most historic accommodation houses in Bright, Victoria.

Stunning scenery. The Boutique Hotel is surrounded by amazing trees and scenery which only serve to highlight the old building.

Rooms are decorated in antiques, including beds.

We were shown to our room, which was thoughtfully heated by the time of our arrival, by the owner Paula, who was gracious and welcoming.

We dined in the award winning restaurant that evening and were amazed by the food on offer. The French Chef, Frederick, offers a range of foods which make your mouth water.

The food was incredible, reasonably priced and they also possess a large range of wines and beers. Staff are extremely knowledgeable regarding the food and wines and the service is right up there with a 5 star restaurant.

A comfortable evening spent around the fire in the guest lounge, armed with a good Shiraz, rounded off a beautiful and relaxing trip.

We recommend The Bright Oriental Hotel to anyone who enjoys good food, wine, service and a relaxing weekend. One of the best. A real "Hidden Jewel" of Bright.
